Explanation:

Democracy may have good definition in books, articles, newspapers, etc. But democracy should not be a word, which will make you imagine “lots of people just speaking whatever is in their mind.”

My definition of democracy includes:

A sense of feeling where you are living peacefully with the right to do what makes you happy.

It's about how you express your views gracefully without hurting sentiment of others. It gives you the responsibility to respect all the people without knowing their caste, religion, etc.

The feeling of a bird who can fly as high as she wants, but comes back to ground to have water. This is the feeling of being humbled.

Freedom of speech is generally treated as a biggest condition for democracy. Speaking truth with full confidence shows the soul of democracy.

A fear in heart before speaking the mind of yours is the initial stage of cancer for democracy.

A fear in the mind to speak truth is the death of democracy.

A place where people come and celebrate all the festivals is an indication of great democracy. Because democracy always unites, never divides.

Democracy can be named and put behind the bar. But democracy will come out to rise and shine to take out the people from the darkness towards the bright ray of light. It is a ray of hope in all the darkness surrounding.

Democracy comes from education. And education doesn't include pile of degrees, it involves the reasoning mind. An education should give creativity and not restriction.

In short, Democracy is to live and let live with all the different opinions.
