The concept of sustainable development was described in the 1987 Brentland Commission report as " development that meets the need of the present without compromising the ability of nfuture generations to meet their own needs".  Examples of sustainable development - wind energy, solar energy, croprotation, green space etc. Susbatainability has three main pillars: economic, environment and social. Sustainable development concerns not only the environment , but also the social and economic environment and forms three pillars aimed at ensuring the integrity of the planet and improving the quality of life.
