Given:

(Note : There should be x in place of x2.)

Which of the following is equal to \[{x}\].

Solution:

Take option (a),

\[\begin{array}{l} = {x^{\frac{{12}}{7}}} - {x^{\frac{5}{7}}}\\ = {x^{\frac{1}{7}}}\left( {{x^{12}} - {x^5}} \right)\end{array}\]

Take option (b),

\[ = \sqrt[{12}]{{{{\left( {{x^4}} \right)}^{\frac{1}{3}}}}}\]

\[ = {x^{4 \times \frac{1}{3} \times \frac{1}{{12}}}}\]

\[ = {x^{\frac{1}{9}}}\]

Take option (c),

\[ = {\left( {\sqrt {{x^3}} } \right)^{\frac{2}{3}}}\]

\[ = {x^{\frac{3}{2} \times \frac{2}{3}}}\]

\[ = x\]

Take option (d),

\[ = {x^{\frac{2}{4} \times \frac{6}{4}}}\]

\[ = {x^{\frac{3}{4}}}\]

Hence, the correct option is (c).
