- if the speed of a body changes ,then the body must possess acceleration .
- acceleration is defined as the rate of change of velocity (a =Δt Δv ). so when the velocity of a body changes then the acceleration also changes.
- however, under acceleration speed might not change if the direction is changed and vice versa.
