Heat Of Hydrogenation(understand this)

H2C=CH2 + H2 ----> CH3-CH3 + ENERGY RELEASE (Viz.H.O.H)

Now H.O.H is inversely proportional to stability of alkene. .........eq 1

According to Question

1st option 2 alpha-H

2nd option has no alpha-C

3rd option has 1 alpha-H

4th option has no alpha-H

Note:Stability directly proportional to alpha-H.....eq 2

Therefore by eq 1 and 2 ......

1st option is correct

znt: but I want to ask a question "is stability directly proportional to reactivity towards elecrophilic substitution reaction "because if it is stable then why it needs to be undergo electrophilic substitution reaction. so plzz explain me your point
