• Observation is Objective- This means observation is done with a objective  or purpose.  For example- Teacher need to observe behaviour of her students to make better Individualised education plans.

• Observation is Selective-  Selective participation is where we tend to focus only on certain situations that support of interests. For Example- When a teacher is interested to create lesson plans for students and observe the specific behaviour that is concurrent to the lesson that she is preparing to teaching.

• Observation is random- An Observation which is done without prior plans and lacks planned excecution. For Example- A school Principle decides to observe a mischevious class.
