Option 4 : Fancy Chart is an invalid chart type. Rest other i.e. Point, Area, Doughnut and Pie are valid chart types.

Point Chart :

  • It is the simplest type of graph
  • In this, the data points are represented as points with the corresponding value coordinates on the graph
  • Through this chart, we see the value range, diversity, and concentration of some values in the graph rather than a trend.

Area Chart :

  • It is a combination of a line chart and a bar chart
  • It shows the change in quantity with time similar to Line Graph. The only difference is the area if the Line graph with X-axis is colored.
  • It is mostly used to represent time-series

Pie Chart :

  • This is a circular part-whole representation of data
  • Here, we can only represent a single series of data.
  • The corresponds to the entire circle i.e. 360 degrees. Data subtend angles from the circle according to their proportion from the whole.

Doughnut Chart :

  • It is similar to a Pie chart where we show a part-whole relationship between the values
  • The difference is in shape. It is of doughnut shape with an inner and outer circle instead of a complete single circle.
  • There can be multiple data series we can represent as multiple rings in a Doughnut chart.
