Given :

(a)x-3/x =4

(b)3x-5/x=x²

(c) x+1/x=3

(d) x²-3=4x²-4x

To Find : Which one is not Quadratic Equation

Solution:

Quadratic Equation is of from ax²  + bx + c = 0  where a ≠ 0

(a) x-3/x =4

x-3/x =4

=> x² - 3 = 4x

=> x² - 4x - 3 = 0

Quadratic Equation

3x-5/x=x²

=> 3x²  - 5 = x³

=> x³ - 3x²  + 5 =  0

NOT a Quadratic Equation

x+1/x=3

x+1/x=3

=> x² + 1 = 34x

=> x² - 3x + 1 = 0

Quadratic Equation

x²-3=4x²-4x

=> 3x² - 4x + 3 = 0

Quadratic Equation

3x - 5/x = x²  not a Quadratic Equation
