Given :

(a)x-3/x =4   or (x - 3)/x  = 4

(b)3x-5x=x²

(c) x+1/x=4    or (x + 1)/x  = 4

(d) x²-3=4x²-4x

To Find : Which one is not Quadratic Equation

Solution:

Quadratic Equation is of from ax²  + bx + c = 0  where a ≠ 0

(a)x-3/x =4   or (x - 3)/x  = 4

x-3/x =4

=> x² - 3 = 4x

=> x² - 4x - 3 = 0

Quadratic Equation

(x - 3)/x  = 4

=> x - 3 = 4x

=> 3x  + 3 = 0

Not a  Quadratic Equation

3x-5x=x²

=> x² + 2x = 0

Quadratic Equation

x+1/x=4    or (x + 1)/x  = 4

x+1/x=4

=> x² + 1 = 4x

=> x² - 4x + 1 = 0

Quadratic Equation

(x + 1)/x  = 4

=> x + 1 = 4x

=> 3x - 1 = 0

Not a  Quadratic Equation

x²-3=4x²-4x

=> 3x² - 4x + 3 = 0
