• There are various elements in the modern periodic table which have electrical conductivity power less than the normal conductors and greater than the insulators,these elements are known as the semiconductors.

• The silicon, germanium are some common examples of the semiconductor.

• But,arsenic is not a semiconductor because it is only used to dope the other semiconductors.
