The main characteristics of green revolution is:

• Increased application of fertilizers, pesticides and insecticides etc. in order to reduce agricultural loses.
• Increased usage of hybrid seeds for high yield and disease resistant, which ultimately enhances productivity.
• Use of modern equipment and machines to fasten the process more efficiently.
