Cental level, state level and local level is not part of vertical power sharing due to the following reasons:

- The sharing of power among different levels of government is called vertical division of power.

- Government at the provincial original level or a General government for the entire country is the government at different levels.

- Power is to be shared between the various states of Government and the central or union government in the constitution in India is one of the example.

- For decision making there are certain matters on which only an individual state government has an exclusive right while there are others on which only the central government can take decisions.

- Under the vertical sharing power :-

The higher and lower levels of government involves in vertical division of power and lower organisation work under the higher organisation .
