Option c) is correct ✔️

  • Electromagnetic waves are a part of spectrum. They are transverse waves having components of electric field and magnetic field.

  • Some of the examples are : X Rays, Gamma Rays, Radio waves, Visible spectrum (i.e. colours of rainbow) , Micro-waves , etc.

  • They are arranged on the basis of their frequencies and wavelength.

However, in vacuum , they all travel with the same speed of 3 × 10⁸ m/s.

  • Their individual velocities change only after refraction into other material media.
