B) H2O

H20 is not used by green and purple bacteria as electron source during oxygenic photosynthesis.

Green and purple sulphur bacteria differ from cyanobacteria because utmost of them are strict anaerobes and don't use water as an electron source.

Like most other photosynthetic bacteria, purple and green sulphar bacteria don't produce oxygen( anoxygenic), because the reducing agent( electron patron) involved in photosynthesis isn't water.

They use H2S or Elementary Sulphur as electron patron. In any photosynthetic organism, CO2 isn't used as electron patron. Rhodopseudomonas uses isopropanol as electron donor. Anoxygenic photosynthesis is carried out by a wide range of bacteria. The principal groups are green sulfur bacteria, similar as Chlorobium( which don't use rubisco), green non sulfur bacteria, similar as Chloroflexus, purple sulfur bacteria, similar as Thiospirillum, and purple nonsulfur bacteria(e.g., Rhodobacter).

So, other options are not correct according to above explanation.

Correct option is b) H2O
