Photosynthesis is a process through which green leaves prepare food with the help of carbon dioxide ,water and minerals with the help of sunlight.
Most of the leaves have chlorophyll which make them look green. Chlorophyll main function is to absorb sunlight which help the green leaves to prepare food for the plant in the presence of air ,water and sunlight. Therefore the first step of photosynthesis is the absorption of light energy by chlorophyll molecules.
