there are 12 equal sections and 4 different colours. so each colour (red, yellow, green and blue) will have 3 section of its own
then probability of getting any colour besides red= (3+3+3)/12

why 3+3+3? it is becuz we need to get every colour beside red so add all three colours (do not include red) to get favourable outcome
and we know probability = fav outcome/ total outcome
