the equation for this will be:

AL + HCL ------------> ALCL3 + H2

silver cannot displace hydrogen , because it is less reactive metal

copper cannnot displace hydrogen because it is also a less reactive metal

the active metals which can displace hydrogen from water are aluminium , potassium , calcium , lithium , sodium etc
