Which of the following mixtures can be separated by using an ammonical solution?
(1) Fe+3 and Al+3
(2) Al+3 and Zn+3
(3) Sn+3 and Pb+3
(4) Cu+3 and Cd+3

Sn+3 and Pb+3 can be seperated. Because Sn+3 and Pb+3 does not belong to same group in qualitative analysis ,but all the other i.e., Fe+3 and Al+3,

Al+3 and Zn+3, Cu+3 and Cd+3 belong to the same group (pair wise).
