it is most prefable as when we write numbers, we prefer the most easy way. i know that you would be confused but exactly when we are in higher standard, we do prefer to write easily. so you can see that all the nos. are written not their spellings. so when we read the sentence we get satisfied as maths should always be written in numbers. the teacher also gets satisfied that the child has used nos. instead of writting spellings.
