The Oxides (a) V₂O₅, Cr₂O₃ are amphoteric in nature as :

1. V₂O₅ dissolve in acid as well as base so it is amphoteric in nature.

2. Cr₂O₃ can go to its lower oxidation state as well as higher oxidation state. Hence it is also amphoteric in nature.

1. Mn₂O₇, CrO₃ are acidic in nature.

2. CrO is basic in nature.
