Answer:

\huge\purple{Solution:-}

Given:-

• Rectangle

Length of rectangle :- 25 cm

Breadth of Rectangle :- 21 cm

• Square

Side of Square(a) :- 22cm

To Find:-

Which Quadrilateral has larger area and by how much ?

Solution:-

•Area of Rectangle = L× B

= 25 × 21

= 525 cm²

•Area of Square = a²

= 22 × 22

= 484 cm²

Larger Area (Rectangle) = 525 cm²

Smaller Area (Square) = 484 cm²

Difference between the Areas of Rectangle and square :-

Ar. of Rectangle - Ar. of Square

=> 525 - 484

=> 41 cm²

So, Area of rectangle is larger by 41 cm².
