As we know that,

  • Rational numbers on the left side of number line are smaller numbers and called as negative rational numbers .
  • Negative numbers are smaller than zero.

given options are :-

a) -5/6 = Negative rational number .

So, we can conclude that, (-5/6) is smaller than 0.

b) -14/17 = Negative rational number .

So, we can conclude that, (-14/17) is smaller than 0.

c) -51/52 = Negative rational number .

So, we can conclude that, (-51/52) is smaller than 0.

therefore, we can conclude that, the greatest number among given rational numbers is (d) 0 .
