Given :
Graph between potential difference and Current is drawn for two resistor R₁ & R₂.
To find :
Relationship between R₁ & R₂.
Solution :
According to Ohm's law , V = i × R
Here,
- V = potential difference across resistor
- i = current flowing through resistor
- R = Resistance
V = i × R
➝ R = V / i. equation 1

Now , in given graph
Slope of graph = y/x
➝ Slope of graph = V ÷ i
➝ Slope of graph = R. [ from equation 1 ]
- Therefore more is slope, more is value of R ( resistance)
Now as we can see the slope of graph for R₂ is greater than slope of graph for R₁.
This gives, R₂ > R₁
