Given :

Graph between potential difference and Current is drawn for two resistor R₁ & R₂.

To find :

Relationship between R₁ & R₂.

Solution :

According to Ohm's law , V = i × R

Here,

  • V = potential difference across resistor
  • i = current flowing through resistor
  • R = Resistance

V = i × R

➝ R = V / i. equation 1

Now , in given graph

Slope of graph = y/x

➝ Slope of graph = V ÷ i

➝ Slope of graph = R. [ from equation 1 ]

  • Therefore more is slope, more is value of R ( resistance)

Now as we can see the slope of graph for R₂ is greater than slope of graph for R₁.

This gives, R₂ > R₁

ANSWER :

Option c) R₁ < R₂
