1- But 3 -en-1-ol is correct because senior functional group is ol and numbering started from here so second is incorrect .

2- 2 chloro-4 methyl pentane is correct because naming is according to alphabetical order here no senior functional group .

ANSWER:-

The correct one in (1) is But-3-en-1-ol.

Because functional group suffix alaways written in last of IUPAC naming.

The correct one in (2) is 2-Chloro-4-methylpentane. Because the IUPAC naming is done by alphabetic order and in (2) Chloro came first as compare to methylpentane, so we write the IUPAC name 2-Chloro-4-methylpentane.
