Solution :-

we know that,

  • Sides opposite to small angle is smaller in length .

given that,

→ angle opposite to perpendicular = 60°

so,

→ angle opposite to base = 180° - (90° + 60°) = 180° - 150° = 30° .

we can conclude that,

  • Base = smallest side.
  • Hypotenuse = Highest side.

then,

→ sin 30° = Base / hypotenuse .

→ (1/2) = Base / hypotenuse .

therefore,

→ Hypotenuse : Base = 2 : 1 (D) (Ans.)
