Dear respected friend,

Salmonella's serotype of enteritidis are known to cause the disease of gastroenteritis especially the species of Salmonella enterica serotype Enteritidis originating from the Species of Hosts for reproduction like many types of rodents like rats, species of mice, etc., Humans, and some galliformes which include domesticated birds like Chicken, hen, ptarmigan, junglefowl, Turkey, etc.

Salmonella currently has over 2500 (or 2600) approximate calculated and found serovars especially Salmonella enterica serovar Enteritidis which causes acute type of gastrointestinal imbalance and/or gastroenteritis.

Most of the causes are traced back to Salmonella species as a majority as it's present more and reproduces more in contaminated foods of raw cheeses like blue cheese, maggot cheese (maggots are considered as a traditional food to be present in cheese when the eggs are laid by flies on maturing cheese), food which are not properly prepared or cooked like most of the cases would refer to tuna fishes to be left in a improper procedure of cooking, mostly raw meat is the one to be the main place for reproduction for Salmonella enterica and it's serotype Enteritidis therefore, makes an entrance to human's gastrointestinal system and cause severe inflammation.

Hence, the required option here will definitely become, Option A) Salmonella enterica serovar or serotype Enteritidis, the new serotype of the species Salmonella to cause a gastrointestinal and digestive tract inflammation.

Hope this helps you and clears the doubts for the species and their respective serotype of Salmonella !!!!
