Option (iii) is the correct answer.

  • The sum of all the internal angles of a triangle must be 180° in all the cases.
  • In any case of the triangle, ( Equilateral, scalene, (or) isosceles) the sum of the angles of the triangle will be 180

=> Using the above property we can find the triangle among the given set of Angles,

=> Option (i):

=> Sum of the angles = 30 + 60 + 80,

=> Sum of the angles = 170°.

=> Hence, (i) is not a set of angles of a triangle.

=> Option (ii):

=> Sum of the angles = 40 + 60 + 70,

=> Sum of the angles = 170°.

=> Hence, (ii) is not a set of angles of a triangle.

=> Option (iii):

=> Sum of the angles = 50 + 30 + 80,

=> Sum of the angles = 180°.

=> Hence, (iii) is a set of angles of a triangle.

Hence, Option (iii) is the correct set among the given set of angles.
