• Cross pollination produces better offspring but the yield is not higher because not all pollen grains are able to reach the stigma of other flowers and incompatibility barriers are also there in which pollen of one species is not able to germinate on the stigma of other species. • Cross pollination occurs in unisexual as well as bisexual flowers. In some plants, bisexual flowers have adaptations that prevent self pollination such as floral barriers, heterostyly, dicliny etc. and only cross pollination can occur in such flowers. Hence, statement B is incorrect
