Correct option is (3)

Explanation:

  • As we know, pyrrole and furan has N and O atoms in them respectively. As electronegativity of N is less than O. So, positive charge will  slightly be more stable on N atom than O atom which makes pyrrole more aromatic than furan. So, option 1 is incorrect.
  • Strong bases are those who protonates easily. Electron pairs that are present on pyrrole is not readily available for protonation. These electrons are required for aromaticity by maintain the sextet of electrons in the ring. So, pyrrole is not a strong base. So, option 2 is incorrect.
  • As pyridine is a six membered heterocyclic compound in which one of the -CH₂ unit of benzene of replaced by an N unit which is sp² hybridized and this nitrogen contributes one electron to the ring. So, option 3 is correct.
  • Amines are the derivate of ammonia but pyridine is not a derivate of ammonia. So, they are not tertiary amine. as well as  tertiary amine are sp³ hybridized but pyridine is sp² hybridized. So, option 4 is incorrect.

So, Option 3 is correct.
