ALL NUMBERS AREN'T STATISTICS

(B) all numbers are statistics is the incorrect statement here.

EXPLAINING WHY ALL NUMBERS AREN'T STATISTICS:

* Statistics is sometimes thought of as a method for mathematically expressing data in order to study causal relationships or linkages. Score is a quantitative measure of evaluation that may be tallied, totaled, split and subdivided, analysed and compared.

* As a result, all facts that are to be considered statistics must be quantitatively stated and arranged in relation to one another. Qualitative data cannot be incorporated in statistics unless it is quantified by giving some numerical values for evaluation.

* Not all numbers, however, are continuous and quantifiable. The fact that a student's grades are 50, for example, means nothing unless they are comparable. As a result, figures in statistics must be aggregates of facts rather than individual figures.
