For example  3 + 4 = 7

The sum of two negative integers is  negative integer

-1 + (-2)  = - 3

III. The sum of opposite integers is zero.   TRUE

-2  + 2 = 0

IV. The sum of a positive and a negative integer is always negative.  FALSE
