ANSWER-->

Isotopes which are having same number and there by arrangement of electrons on the isotopes which undergo same chemical reaction but there is only variations in the mass.

Different isotopes of an element have the same atomic number , but different mass numbers. Thats because each isotope of an element contains different numbers of neutrons.

The chemical properties of an element are determined by its electronic structure. Because isotopes have the same number and therfore arrangements of electrons , isotopes of an element undergo the same chemical reaction. The only difference is their mass.

Isotopes are sometimes shown by the name of the element. followed by the mass number. Thus the three isotopes of hydrogen would be

Hydrogen-1

Hydrogen-2

Hydrogen -3
