1. it need not split if u refract it twice with a prism and an identical inverted prism

2. if light is passed through prism without refraction then it need not split(based on material)

3. on the other hand light can now be dispersed to 2 different beams on reflection but thats a newer thing proven out more recently

4. is a fact of nature no question there.

it can be a b or c

but I would go with c coz it was hypothesized a long time ago that light can be dispersed by reflection but not into the whole 7 colour spectrum right now
