by distillation method , that is heating the mixture and form vapours and then Cool those vapours to form one more liquid . thus ethyl and alcohol are separated , this si done because we have enough sufficient difference of boiling point in them , if there is no enough sufficient difference of boiling point then we use fractional distillation
