Which of the following triangles is possible? Give reasons if not possible
(a) ∆ A = 147°, ∆B = 37. ∆C = 15°.
(b) ∆P = 53º,∆Q = 62°, ∆R = 65°.

Anonymous: In the given figure, ∠ACD is an exterior angle of ΔABC. ∠B = 40°, ∠A = 70°.

Find the measure of ∠ACD.

ANSWER:
In ΔABC,
∠ACD = ∠A + ∠B (Exterior angle property)
= 70∘ + 40∘
= 110∘
Hence, the measure of ∠ACD is 110∘.
