When one wants to establish a particular fact or in an attempt to gain new knowledge or simply verify a scientific law ,there is need for an experiment .experiments when not conducted in the right way may lead to errors

Error means a mistake .in different experiments there are different errors even though you have not specified the type of experiment you are referring to but errors may be due to mistake in setting up of apparatus
