The following are some of the progressive amendments that lead to the women being given chance to vote in  India. At first in India women were not allowed to voted since that was seen as an activity that belonged to the men and only men were allowed to do the task alone. As the years progressed by Indian parliament came with up with amendments that in one way favored women to start participating in elections just the same way men did. This gave opportunity  to the women to elect leaders who would represent them in parliament and air their views. they included .1) 19 amendment (women suffrage)  2) 26 amendment  3) .24 amendment  4). 15 amendment .
