Answer:

Changes of state are physical changes in matter. They are reversible changes that do not involve changes in matter's chemical makeup or chemical properties. Common changes of state include melting, freezing, sublimation, deposition, condensation, and vaporization.

Answer:

Solid changes to liquid and liquid to gas ( in the process of evaporation) due to heat. For example: Ice turns to water when heated and water to vapour in the process of evaporation. The molecules in a matter start to move vigourously and emits kinetic energy whenever heated resulting in having more inter-molecular spaces.
