Hi there,

EROM (Erasable Read-Only Memory) is the memory that holds the information when the power supply is switched off.

It is a programmable chip that can retain its data even where their is no power supply. It is also called flash memory. The EROM can be erased by using ultraviolet light. It can also be erased by using electric current but that is known is EEPROM.

Thanks for asking the question.
