In human body, digestion system is rather complicated.
The digestion process starts the moment food in taken into the mouth and you start to chew it in order to break into smaller pieces so that you can digest it faster.
Next it passes through esophagus and this part only functions as a tube for transportation.
No chemical digestion takes place in this area. Hence the answer is esophagus.

Hey mate here's your answer
We know that digestion begins at mouth and ends at anus.If we chewed the food it would be digested with the help of saliva, then it goes to esophagus no digestion takes place here. It only helps in pushing the food into stomach.
The stomach would be digested with the help of gastric juice and small and large intestine would be digested with the help of intestinal juice.
So esophagus does not contribute to chemical digestion.
Answer=Esophagus
