Answer:average velocity can be zero.

Explanation bcz average velocity = total displacement/total time taken

While average speed =path length / total time taken and as we know that total displacement can be zero but total path covered can not be zero

Answer:

average velocity

Explanation:

average velocity is basically total displacement over total period of time.

& displacement means shortest path covered on moving from anyone position to the other.

average speed is basically total distance over total period of time.

& distance means total path covered by any body on moving from anyone position to the other.

after moving a certain length, distance>0 but displacement = or < 0
