Your question seems interesting to me.According to me ,emotional intelligence is more relevant to success than iq .The reason behind this ideology is that it can be learned and developed!You cannot increase your iq it’s not in your control!just like your choice of parents:) Anything which can be learned is more in-depth .Iq helps to get through schools but in this big bad world eq and quality of relationships matters the most.Steve Jobs had a great eq!what a igneous and wonderful man!Therefore Success is not earned by innate iq but a mixture of both with eq of the higher concentration!As it’s your relations with your fellow colleagues that will lead to your success!

I'm being honest about this that I don't know much about EQ, but I'm IQ more...
As we all know that, EQ is Emotional Quotient and IQ is Intelligence Quotient!
As I can say for everyone, IQ and EQ both are much important in our life, because as much as Intelligence matters equals emotions and feelings matters too!
Moreover Don't forget about IQ too, If you don't have intelligence and only have emotions then you might get fooled by people too! So, we all must consider this that As much as IQ matters that much EQ also matters!
Even then many among us prefer any one between them such as ME!
My personal opinion about this that I mostly prefer IQ more than EQ and will always! I'm just aware of getting an idea about being an emotional fool...which perfectly suits me!
As this for future, I think IQ still matters the most for me as by this I can achieve more Intelligence, knowledge,reputation and a good career too!
At last for all, you can have EQ too but have IQ more so that no one can mistreat, mislead or fool you!
