which of the two onions has longer root? why

We can grow the roots in water of both the onions. And then, we can grow it to seed as a houseplant. Smaller green onions are simply onions harvested before the bulbs becomes mature. So, we can grow the green portion in water again and again. And can grow roots and plants it hence, the bulb grows to the maturity.
