The poet Robert Frost chose the road " less travelled by" when he was faced with two roads that " diverged in a yellow wood" . Metaphorically the poet is saying he took a path that was more risky than that taken by most of us, the path of a creative artist and writer. ... The road the poet forges.

➣ While walking through a forest, the poet comes across a point where the road forks into two. Both the roads are covered with fallen yellow leaves. One goes in the undergrowth as far as he can see and the other one seems to be grassy and less travelled . Few travellers seem to have gone by that path.
