Let's check one by one

First let check it the value of x is 2

2(2)+4 10

4+4 10

8 not equal to 10

LHS not equal to RHS

Therefore value of x not equal to 2

as it does not satisfy the equation

Let's check for 3

2(3)+4 10

6+4 10

10 = 10

Therefore value of x is 3

Similarly,you can also try to put values like 4,5 etc. And you would notice that the value will not satisfy so x=3.....
