A protein is a biomacromolecules consisting of smaller repeating units known as amino acids.

So we can definitely say that the components of any amino acids army date to make proteins.

As the name "amino acids" suggest, we can clearly understand that there is presence of amino group (NH2) , consisting of nitrogen atoms placed in the structure of amino acids.

Other elements like calcium ,potassium and phosphorus are not really needed to make amino acids and hence are not what required for production of of proteins

So final answer is :

{\boxed{\red{\huge{Nitrogen}}}}

Helo mate here your ans

The proteins, being made up a diverse set of amino acids, have, in addition to carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen, the elements sulfur and selenium

The two mineral elements that are sued in the synthesis of protein are Nitrogen and magnesium. Protein contains carbon, hydrogen and nitrogen. The last element is absorbed in the form of nitrates into the soil. It helps to increase the nutritional value of the plants, since the nitrates are supplied by the roots.

Hope this ans help you...
