We know that the zeros in the right side of the significant digit after decimal point have no significance.

Thus,

2.06 = 2.060 = 2.0600

all are equal.

In simplest form these are written as 2.06

i.e. all these have one significant digit before decimal and two after decimal point.

But,

20.60 is different from all these decimal numbers.

As it have two significant digit before decimal and one after decimal point.

Thus,
