The difference between the classical and post classical period is that the postclassical period saw empires control larger territories than during the classical period.

  • During the classical period, people were divided into small groups and as a tribes. In the then society, agriculture and trade did not play an important role in the society. People were more occupied in their tribal group which was stratified in numerous stratas.    
  • The society underwent into many changes and the solidarity between the people goes on decreasing. People now wanted to explore new opportunities and for this they started shifting apart from their bloodline.
  • Communication became more advanced now and there was a paradigm shift in the world. Now, the commercial agriculture was started and local trade giving line to international trade was also came into picture.
  • New ideas and innovation came into existence with the development of Silk Route and trade between two world. The upcoming technologies gave birth to economic transformation in this period.
  • Politics and administration were also finding new heights to shift and provide a cordial environment in the world so as to gave boost to these innovations and apparent changes.
