Most of the farmland were controlled by the wealthy.  Another important aspect of agricultural revolution is that landowners put enclosures around their farm.   Before this revolution majority of the farmland in England was common land without enclosures.   There was an increase in the population in the countryside and reduced migration to urban centres.
