Given : (2x³ + 2x² + x) (x²-2x +2)

To Find : Which of these terms will appear in the simplest form

A.-2x³

B. x³

C. 3x³

D. 6x³

Solution:

(2x³ + 2x² + x) (x²-2x +2)

= 2x³ (x²-2x +2)   + 2x²(x²-2x +2)   + x(x²-2x +2)

=  2x⁵ - 4x⁴ + 4x³  + 4x⁴  - 4x³  + 4x²  + x³  - 2x²  + 2x

= 2x⁵   - 4x⁴ + 4x⁴  + 4x³   - 4x³  + x³  + 4x² - 2x²  + 2x

= 2x⁵  + x³   + 2x² + 2x
